Audio Visual Technician – Melbourne MetroAbout the Team

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Audio Visual Technician to join our Melbourne-based team of passionate professionals.

About the Role

This part-time position offers weekday shifts and the occasional weekend, ideal for someone who:

  • Values flexible working hours.
  • Wants to supplement their current income.
  • Prefers a scaled-back schedule while staying active in the workforce.

You'll work onsite at customer locations across Melbourne — from corporate offices to government facilities, education institutions, and retail environments — handling the installation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual and technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and troubleshoot:
  • Interactive panels
  • Projectors
  • Boardroom AV systems
  • Set up and operate AV equipment for events and shows.
  • Perform software updates and firmware installations.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service at every site.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure correct handling of tools and equipment.

About You – The Ideal Candidate

You're a hands-on, solutions-focused technician who takes initiative and enjoys variety in your workday.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience with AV systems and technical installations.
  • Are confident travelling around Melbourne (with occasional regional work).
  • Have a basic understanding of construction and are comfortable with tools.
  • Are physically capable of lifting and moving equipment.
  • Work well both independently and in a team setting.
  • Bring a positive, can-do attitude to every job.

Requirements

  • Previous AV or technical installation experience (preferred).
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check or Police Check.
  • Full Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Clean criminal record.
