About the role

Blue City Motorcycles is seeking an experienced parts and accessories salesperson to join our team in Mount Gambier, SA. This full-time role will see you providing exceptional customer service and product expertise to our valued customers. You will be an integral part of our retail operation, helping our customers find the perfect parts and accessories for their on and off-road motorcycles, SSV's, ride-on lawn tractors, chainsaws and outdoor power equipment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them identify the right parts and accessories for their needs
  2. Maintaining a thorough understanding of our product range and industry trends
  3. Effectively managing inventory, stock replenishment, and merchandising
  4. Processing sales transactions and providing exceptional customer service
  5. Assisting with store operations as required

What we're looking for

  1. Demonstrated sales experience, preferably within the motorcycle or automotive parts industry. Outdoor power equipment sales experience also highly desirable.
  2. Applicants must have specific experience in motorcycle or automotive parts sales to be considered for this position.
  3. A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience is required for this position.
  4. Strong product knowledge and the ability to match customer needs to the right parts and accessories
  5. Candidates must possess basic knowledge of motorcycle parts with the ability to develop expertise through on-the-job learning.
  6. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to name basic motorcycle components at the commencement of employment.
  7. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a positive shopping experience
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Flexibility to work Saturdays as required
  10. Australian citizenship is required for this position.
