*We are more than a securities exchange*
The ASX team brings together talented people from a diverse range of disciplines.
We run critical market infrastructure, with 1 in 3 people employed within technology. Yet we have a unique complexity of roles across a range of disciplines such as operations, program delivery, financial products, investor engagement, risk and compliance.
We're proud of the diversity of our organisation and the culture of inclusion that all our people help to build every day. Our employee-led groups are known for celebrating cultural and religious events, championing LGBTIQ+ inclusion (recently achieving AWEI Bronze), inspiring giving and volunteering, promoting gender equality, and wellbeing. We are an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (WGEA) and a member of the Champions of Change Coalition for the advancement of gender equality in Australia.
Key purpose of the role
Design and embed simple, scalable product processes, foundations and standards that lift maturity and help divisions to deliver value. Co-design ways of working with stakeholders, enable adoption, and make outcomes and progress visible – creating the conditions for sustainable growth. This is a hands-on role focused on turning direction into practical, repeatable practice.
Your Team
Enterprise Products is a small, central enablement and service team that supports federated line of business product teams. We partner with various SMEs to develop product frameworks, standards, guidance, tooling and best-practices to ensure value delivery for ASX. The team provides portfolio level reporting, insights, and structure to drive company growth, support decision making, and generate investment in product over time. We use light governance rhythms (e.g. product forum and working groups) to coordinate improvements and track adoption – it's all about engagement and collaboration.
Your Responsibilities
- Framework & Process Evolution: steward the agreed development framework, lifecycle management framework, and sub-processes, to continuously improve definitions, entry/exit criteria and "What good looks like" based on usage, feedback and outcomes.
- Governance Rhythms: support running the quarterly Enterprise Product Forum and lead assigned sub working groups to deliver outcomes, and manage/maintain a visible change backlog, decision log and published outcomes.
- Enablement & Rollout: produce lean standards, guidance, templates, checklists and examples aligned with stakeholder expectations to support first-use adoption and risk management.
- Tooling Uplift & SME: mature the core product toolset in step with the framework – act as a practical SME, shape the roadmap with platform owners, translate decisions into usable configurations, and support processes, guardrails and adoption across teams.
- Data, Measures & Insights: establish and maintain shared data basics (taxonomy, metrics, key fields, definitions), ensure capture and quality, and partner with product teams and analytics to surface clear portfolio insights and business intelligence that inform executive decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: facilitate co-design with cross-functional leads and in working groups, surface trade-offs with options, and manage impacts transparently.
- Growth Enablement: remove friction, standardise essentials, and improve portfolio visibility so executive management has clear line of sight, and teams can scale impact without added complexity.
- Product & Service Information Management: support the process, tooling configuration and maintenance of product and service master data in ServiceNow (CSDM) and Salesforce.
Your Experience And Qualifications
Must have
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
- Experience in financial services or in a similar highly regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience in designing and embedding processes in a product or adjacent environment
- Strong facilitation: be able to align diverse stakeholders, bring them on the journey, and make clear decisions visible
- Excellent information design and writing of standards, templates and guidance people value, read and use
- Evidence of transformation and change delivery: planning rollouts, enablement, and follow-through to adoption
- Proven financial acumen and ability to define indicators and product metrics for in development and in-life product performance reporting
- Organised and dependable: independently tracks work, follows direction, maintains backlogs, decision logs, and versioned artefacts.
- Calm, collaborative style with a bias to practicality and clarity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Nice to have
- Exposure to product operations and enablement, or portfolio governance
- Familiarity with common product frameworks, workflows and their guardrails
- Technical competence: experience with Jira Product Discovery, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, ServiceNow and O365
- Experience in improving dependency management or cross-team flow
- Background in enablement or transformation
- Data literacy and financial competency in the product field
- Work with federated organisations
- Comfortable balancing standards vs team autonomy
- Experience with product information management, PLM, CRM and ERP systems
- Ability to manage forums
