About the role

Gumnuts Outside School Hours Care Lakes Entrance, VIC is seeking passionate and dedicated Educators to join our team on a casual basis. As an Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for the children in our centre. Our centre operates multiple locations, so this is an excellent opportunity for those seeking stable employment in the childcare sector.

What you'll be doing

  • Implement engaging educational programs that support the learning and development of children aged 5-12 years

  • Ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children in your care

  • Build positive relationships with children and their families

  • Observe and document children's progress and development

  • Adhere to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies

  • Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

  • Proven experience working with children in an early learning environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Creativity and the ability to engage children in play-based learning

  • Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team

  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management certificates

  • Working with Children Check or equivalent
