Local Home Loan Specialist

About The Role
Are you driven to make a real difference in people's lives by helping them achieve their financial goals? We're looking for an experienced and motivated Local Home Loan Specialist to join our welcoming and high-performing team at our Earlville Branch.
In this role, you'll provide exceptional, personalised lending support to both new and existing Members. You'll handle a variety of lending needs, from personal and credit card loans to more complex mortgage applications, while building strong relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact.
You'll also support the Area Manager with business development initiatives, help manage loan processing and distribution and play a key role in coaching and mentoring staff. A vital part of the role involves leading our mortgage retention program to ensure our Earlville Members feel supported and valued throughout their lending journey.
This is a full-time permanent position, based on a 38-hour working week. Monday to Friday. The successful applicant may be required to work at branches within the region, as required.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate:
- Lending experience and sales skills
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound mathematical skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Sounds understanding of Queensland Country products and services (desired)
