Grovers Rural Supplies in Skipton - proudly supported by Elders - is seeking a dynamic and driven Branch Manager to take the lead in operations, team leadership, and client success, with a strong focus on our rural merchandise offering.

This role is ideal for a current Branch Manager or Sales Leader who brings deep rural products knowledge and is ready to take ownership of a thriving branch in a supportive regional community.

What you'll be doing:
  • Oversee and lead all aspects of branch operations, driving growth and profitability
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage a team across merchandise, sales, and customer service
  • Strengthen Grovers' position in the region through proactive relationship building
  • Lead the marketing and promotion of our full suite of rural and agri-products
  • Manage merchandise planning, ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, across both existing and prospective clients
  • Uphold a strong safety culture and model Elders' zero-harm values
What you bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, preferably in ag or rural services
  • Strong understanding of rural products, livestock, and agency operations
  • Confidence in managing a team, budgets, and business performance
  • A client-first mindset and a passion for supporting local farmers and communities
  • Local knowledge of the Skipton region and a strong industry network
  • A collaborative approach and the drive to lead by example

As part of our ongoing growth and evolution, we're looking for a motivated and experienced Branch and Retail Manager to lead our Skipton branch. This role has become available due to the current incumbent stepping into an exciting new position focused on business development and key account growth - a newly created role that reflects our commitment to expanding services and deepening client relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership, customer service, and operational skills to take the reins of a well-performing branch and continue driving success.
