About the role

Erma Care , a leading provider of disability support services, is seeking a matured Female Support Worker (preferably between 20 to 30 years at client request ) to work with one of our client with spinal cord injury in Ningi, QLD.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing personalised care and support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Hoisting ,urine and bowel care management
  • Engaging clients in social and recreational activities to promote their wellbeing and independence
  • Advocating for client needs and ensuring their rights are upheld
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care
  • Collaborating with the broader care team to ensure a coordinated approach to client support

What we're looking for

  • A genuine passion for supporting the aged and disabled community
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in aged care, disability support, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Compassionate and patient approach, with a focus on client-centred care
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Reliable and flexible, with a willingness to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
