An exciting new opportunity has become available to join the wonderful Speech with Rhi (and friends) team We are a small team of passionate Speech Pathologists, Therapy Assistants and Support Workers who are passionate about supporting children and adults with developmental delays and neurodevelopmental conditions to live their best lives.

What makes Speech with Rhi (and friends) different to every other private practice?

2. Whilst we are a private practice, our focus is on client outcomes not dollars and we have a specific therapy model that supports this. This therapy model was designed by the principal Speech Pathologist, Rhiannon Harrison.

3. Therapy Assistants are INTEGRAL to the success of this therapy model. We all know how scarce therapists are. Speech with Rhi (and friends) is proud to be leading the way in terms of innovative thinking around service delivery models so our clients can get the most out of their funding, but also so that we can provide services to as many children as possible. We want to see every child live their best life

So, are you our next Therapy Assistant? We are looking for a Therapy Assistant to help us service the:

- Bribie Island/ Ningi/ Beachmere/ Caboolture regions.

**About you**:

- You will either have/ will be studying towards or have experience as:

- A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- A Speech Pathology, Education or Occupational Therapy student **(highly preferred)**
- Teacher aide
- OSHC educator
- Early Childhood Educators
- both diploma and bachelor qualified **(highly preferred)**
- Holders of a primary or secondary education degree **(highly preferred)**
- A support worker for children with high support needs
- You will have an interest in working with children, particularly those with Autism and other developmental conditions.
- Be happy to start on a casual basis, to support your learning and so we can build you a caseload around YOU. Yes, you read that right. Our caseloads are built around YOU. The children get the most from the service you provide when you LOVE what you do. You get the most out of your job when you LOVE what you do. So, it’s a win win. This is also backed by science.

**What do we provide?**
- Dedicated supervision with the Principal Speech Pathologist, Rhiannon Harrison and/or Senior Occupational Therapist, Louise and the other members of you clinical team.
- Flexible working hours
- for the right person we will make it work. All we ask is that you are available at least one afternoon after school per week. We always say it’s about the right fit.
- Above award renumeration for everyone, although this is dependent on your experience and your qualifications.
- A combination of in clinic and mobile service deliveryoptions.
- The opportunity to shadow both the Principal Speech Pathologist, Senior Occupational Therapist and the Senior Therapy Assistant to learn with and from them. This is through the entirety of your tenure with Speech with Rhi (and friends). Learning and growth doesn’t just get fostered at the beginning. It’s a life long, career long journey. Our principal Speech Pathologist always says, _“the moment you think you know everything is the moment you shouldn’t be doing this job anymore”_
