About the Role
Tasmea is seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Commercial Manager & Investor Representative to support our Western Australian operations. This high-impact role partners closely with the WA Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director, and the Tasmea Executive Team (TXT) to drive strategic initiatives, business improvement programs, acquisition integration, and commercial performance uplift across the WA portfolio.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially driven leader to work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and investment — representing corporate interests across a portfolio of successful industrial businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the WA COO and MD to deliver EBIT and cashflow uplift through high-impact strategic and operational projects
- Identify and execute gross margin improvement initiatives across WA entities
- Represent WA in board, investor, and acquisition-related reporting at the executive level
- Support Tasmea's Head of M&A across the full deal lifecycle — pipeline, due diligence, commercial assessment, and post-deal execution
- Track acquisition performance against investment assumptions and ensure integration is completed within 12 months
- Maintain strategic and operational alignment between Group and WA business units
- Deliver high-quality commercial papers, board updates, and investor briefings
About You
- 8+ years' experience in commercial, corporate development, M&A, strategy, or performance improvement roles
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L analysis, valuation, and business case preparation
- Proven ability to partner with operations teams and influence senior executives
- Demonstrated success delivering commercial insights, improving margin, or supporting post-deal performance
- Strong communication skills and experience presenting to executives and/or boards
- Self-starter with the ability to operate across multiple stakeholders and business units
