Team Leader- Justice and Diversion

• Salary : $110,110 - $114,980 plus superannuation and salary package

About the role

The Team Leader position has been created to provide leadership, direction and support to diversion services, Koori Women's Diversion Program, Koori Men's Diversion Program, FV therapeutic youth program, Deadly Kids Program and Family centred youth justice program.

The positions will provide staff with regular professional supervision and appropriate development and training opportunities to provide a quality service.

About You

The role requires a strong understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal culture, values and the issues impacting Aboriginal communities. It involves applying expertise in mental health, AOD, trauma- informed and culturally safe practices, and supporting clients with complex needs. The position also focuses on service development, building collaborative partnerships, and achieving positive outcomes for clients and communities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively with staff, community members and external partners.

Requirements:

• A Tertiary qualification in the field of social work, youth work, psychology or community services
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the child, youth and families' sector
• Valid Police Check, a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
