As we continue to grow at our brand new Renewable Energy facility we are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Electrotechnology Trainers to join our team. We are looking for full time, part time and casual trainers to deliver training in Pinkenba and Mitchelton.

We are bringing Solar and Renewable world class Electrotechnology training to South East Queensland and where the jobs of tomorrow will require new and more advanced training and skills. We will train and build the skills that are at the front line in combating climate change.

Electro Group Training is an industry training college established for the industry by the industry in Queensland. With over 25 years experience, we pride ourselves on being one of the best in the industry.

About the role

As an Electro Group Trainer you will deliver a high quality of training & assessment services to the Electrotechnology Industry.

We are looking for the right people to deliver and assess a variety of courses in the electrotechnology sector from career start, apprenticeship to post trade training.

Electro Group offer both accredited and non- accredited training courses.

We need you to share your knowledge and experience and help train the electrical industry for the future.

You will :

  • Deliver and assess Certificate II, Certificate III, Post Trade and Short Courses.
  • Build strong & effective working relationships with the Electrotechnology community including apprentices, employers and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of RTO programs including assisting with the development of training material and resources.
  • Maintain the highest level of compliance and participate in internal and external audits.

You will also bring:

  • Trade qualification and Industry Currency in the Electrical, Renewable Energy or Telecommunications industries.
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher is highly desirable, however we are open to working with the right candidate to be able to obtain this qualification if you have sufficient industry experience.
  • A good understanding of statutory regulations related to training in the electrotechnology industry.
  • Experience delivering training relevant to the electrotechnology sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate.
  • A good level of computer skills including Microsoft Office.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a genuine desire for the Electrotechnology industry's future. We want you to enhance the knowledge of all students in the Electrotechnology industry.
