About the role

We are seeking compassionate and experienced family support workers to join our team and assist with in home support and community access on a casual basis to our clients in Hunter area. Clients could live with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, PTSD and requires a support worker who is experienced, compassionate, and able to maintain strong professional boundaries.   • Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation and light domestic duties.
  • Support with appointments, grocery shopping, and gym visits.
  • Provide assistance with community access and personal care.
  • Provide support that fosters independence and builds confidence.
  • Available for shorter shifts from Monday to Sunday except Saturday.

About you

  • You're caring, reliable, and confident in supporting both adults and young children.
  • Experience working with cerebral palsy, autism, ABI/TBI clients, supporting families, children, or people with disability or neurodivergence – highly regarded.
  • Available to work a minimum of 3 days a week during the specified shift hours, with a commitment to at least 15 hours per week.
  • Must hold a current driver's license, reliable vehicle, valid NDIS Clearance and Working with Children Check.
  • A minimum of Cert III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
