Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong focus on JIRA to join our consultancy team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating and managing workflows specifically for demand and lifecycle management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze business needs and translate them into effective JIRA workflows that enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to demand and lifecycle management.

Design, implement, and manage JIRA workflows that align with business processes and enhance project delivery.

Conduct regular reviews and updates of JIRA workflows to ensure they meet evolving business needs.

Provide training and support to team members on JIRA best practices and workflow management.

Analyze data and metrics from JIRA to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflow efficiency.

Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus on workflow design and implementation.

Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.

Stay updated on JIRA features and functionalities to leverage them for business benefits.

Mandatory Skills:

Extensive experience with JIRA, including workflow creation and management.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable JIRA workflows.

Proven experience in demand and lifecycle management processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.

Familiarity with other project management tools and software.

Knowledge of business process modeling and improvement techniques.

Experience in a consultancy environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management (e.g., CBAP, PMI PBA, PMP) are a plus.

10 15 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on JIRA and workflow management.
