Ecommerce Specialist

We're looking for an
eCommerce Specialist
to bridge the gap between our corporate head office in Milan and our local eCommerce team. In this role, you'll work across multiple brands - including
Sunglass Hut, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Costa Del Mar -
to tailor global web content and marketing strategies for the Australian market.

With a strong analytical mindset, you'll identify commercial opportunities by monitoring website performance, sales and traffic trends, providing valuable insights to the eCommerce Director and Milan teams. Your expertise in localising digital experiences will play a key role in driving growth and engagement across our eCommerce platforms.

Requirements for Success

• Monitor & Analyse Website Performance
  – Track daily analytics, identify issues/opportunities, and support troubleshooting with the analytics team.
• Drive eCommerce Enhancements
  – Collaborate with corporate teams on website improvements, log development tickets, and support testing (UAT) for updates.
• Ensure Legal & Compliance Standards
  – Work with local legal teams to align website content and marketing with ANZ regulations.
• Manage Promotional Calendar
  – Oversee and update the ANZ eCommerce promotional calendar, ensuring alignment with retail and marketing teams.
• Execute & Validate Promotions –
  Test, validate, and align promotions with local marketing, CRM, and performance marketing teams.
• Support Digital Marketing Efforts
  – Assist in managing performance marketing channels, approve ad copy, and ensure marketing messages align across channels.
• Generate Reports & Insights
  – Produce weekly trade reports, ad hoc performance analyses, and leverage data to drive business decisions.
• Enhance Customer Experience
  – Gather insights from internal teams, analyse website engagement metrics, and optimise the omnichannel shopping journey.
• Support eCommerce Projects
  – Assist in launching digital initiatives, coordinating with operations, marketing, and CRM teams.

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years experience working in eCommerce or Marketing.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Understanding of key channels like paid search, social, affiliates, display, and SEO.
• Decent analytical skills, ability to interpret digital insights, and experience with web analytics (Adobe Analytics preferred).
• Experience with content management, copywriting, and a good eye for layout and design.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Strong self-management, ability to prioritize under tight deadlines, and work in fast-paced environments.
• Positive, flexible, and proactive with a strong omni-channel approach and attention to detail.
• Degree (marketing preferred) preferred but not mandatory.
