We're Hiring: COOK– Pist4cchi Restaurant

Pist4cchi, a traditional Italian restaurant known for quality, flavour, and flair, is seeking a skilled and dedicated COOK to join our kitchen team.

About the Role:

As a COOK, you'll be responsible for preparation and service of main courses and salads, with a strong focus on fish, meat, grill work, and baking. You'll work closely with the Head Chef to ensure quality, consistency, and smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute dishes to a high standard during service
  • Manage mise en place and prep for your station (main, grill, salad, or pastry as required)
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are met
  • Assist in daily kitchen operations, stock control, and waste management
  • Work efficiently as part of a small, passionate team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as COOK in an Italian restaurant
  • Strong skills in grilling, fish and meat prep, salad, and basic baking
  • High attention to detail and consistency under pressure
  • Positive, reliable, and hard-working with a genuine love of Italian cuisine
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
