Our client is a well-established leader in embellishment and print finishing located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. Due to business growth and upcoming busy periods, they need a Dispatch Team Member to assist with packing and shipping their products.

This role is to work with the morning shift, 6am - 2.06pm. Overtime available.

What the job involves

As a Dispatch Team Member you will work closely with other members of the Dispatch Team and the Production Managers and delivery drivers. You will be responsible for:

  • general dispatch duties - handling a constant flow of outgoing orders
  • packing and shipping products
  • strapping and wrapping pallets
  • maintaining work area and surrounding areas in a clean, organised and safe condition.

The person we are looking for

The appropriate candidate will have:

  • Previous shipping, warehouse, dispatch experience highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail whilst being able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • A strong work ethic.
