About the Role

As an Operations Analyst at Stake, you will be a key contributor to the team that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of our Stake Super product. You'll be responsible for executing end-to-end operational processes, from customer onboarding to ongoing account management. This role requires a meticulous and proactive individual who can manage daily tasks, resolve customer issues, and contribute to process improvements, all while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Execution & Compliance

  • Execute and manage end-to-end operational processes for the Stake Super product, including client onboarding, rollovers, fee/payment handling, establishing bare trusts and SMSF account maintenance.
  • Monitor operational processes to ensure the highest level of compliance.
  • Act as a conduit between the Customer Success and Operations team by investigating and responding to customer requests.
  • Assist with the creation of operational procedural documents, reporting and best practices.
  • Discover operational improvements through the integration of AI & Agentic solutions.

Problem Solving & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a point of contact for routine operational issues and escalate complex matters to the Team Lead as needed.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Customer Success, Finance, Product and Compliance to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collect and analyse customer feedback and operational data, and provide insights to the team to drive process and product improvements.

Efficiency & Improvement

  • Contribute to identifying operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements within existing workflows.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and organised records across all operational processes.
  • Proactively identify and report any potential compliance breaches or operational risks to the Team Lead.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Detail-Oriented:
    A high level of attention to detail is crucial for handling complex financial data and ensuring accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Adaptability:
    Highly adaptable and resilient, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Accountability:
    A strong track record of taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
  • AI competence:
    You are well versed with the use of LLMs and you are able to creatively recognise operational efficiencies through the implementation of automated workflows and agentic systems.

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience in an operations, or finance-related role, preferably within the superannuation or financial services industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with process execution and data management.
  • Experience with superannuation or SMSF administration is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-function engagement to solve complex problems.
