Founded in 1952, Paspaley is a diverse group of companies. Whilst its core business is pearling, including pearl production, wholesale and retail, it also has extensive involvement in the aviation industry, the rural industry and commercial property.

Our pearling operation is extensive and spans coastal regions from Exmouth, WA around to the north of Darwin, NT. Our pearl farms are positioned amongst some of the world's most spectacular coastline and unique marine environments.

We seek experienced and reliable applicants for YARD SUPPORT role, available in our Darwin yard at Fisherman's Wharf, on a casual basis.

This role includes responsibility for:

Daily support to pearling production operations

Pick up and delivery requirements with appropriate paperwork

Completing vessel and farm manifests and associated paperwork

Provide shore loading and unloading

Supervise activities of casual employees

Other duties as directed by the Coordinator Pearling Warehousing and Logistics.

The successful candidates must:

  • Hold a White Card

  • Basic computer skills

  • Hold a current driver's license

  • Hold a current Forklift Ticket

  • Hold a current medium truck license

  • Have general stores knowledge

  • Have Australian Citizenship or Residency with full work rights

Candidates that have a Dogman's ticket and a first aid qualification will be highly regarded.

All employees will be subject to a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
