Join our team as a Student Engagement Teacher at Southern Cross Catholic College, Annandale

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Engagement Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This full-time, fixed-term position will commence on 19 January 2026 and conclude on 4 December 2026.

You'll join a supportive team of committed teachers who work together in partnership with the parent community to create the best possible learning experience for every student. Your understanding of contemporary teaching practices, and your ability to adapt and support a diverse range of learners, will help every child feel included, valued, and confident.

In your role you'll focus on early intervention, pastoral care, attendance support, and social-emotional development. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with staff and families to implement evidence-based practices like PB4L, CPS, and Trauma-Informed approaches. Ideal candidates will have experience in behaviour support, pastoral care, and building strong relationships with students and families.
