About the role

Southern Cross Catholic College, Annandale is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher - Humanities and English (HPE would be an advantage but is not necessary). This role is a Full time, Fixed Term position commencing as soon as practicable until 5 December 2025.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other

  • Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.

Desirable Criteria

  • Significant experience in working with First Nations students
  • Experienced classroom teacher with a specialised knowledge about First Nations students.
