About the role

Mader Group is recruiting experienced Underground Heavy Equipment Technicians from Canada to join our Australian mining teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Proven history working on large earth moving equipment including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Letourneau, Atlas Copco, Terex, Sandvick, etc.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Use OEM diagnostic tools and manuals to deliver quality repairs
  • Follow strict safety protocols in underground environments

What you need to succeed

  • Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred)
  • Minimum 12 months underground mining experience
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Valid driver's licence (equivalent to Australian Class C)
  • Willingness to work FIFO and relocate to Australia
  • Visa holders on Working Holiday and Temporary Skill Shortage visas encouraged to apply
  • Safety-focused and able to work independently and as part of a team
