Role Description

We are seeking a
Hydraulic Cylinder Technician
to join our workshop team in Perth, WA.

This
full-time, on-site position
involves hands-on work with large-scale mining and earthmoving equipment components.

The role includes:

  • Disassembly (strip) and inspection of hydraulic cylinders
  • Preparing detailed
    assessment and inspection reports
  • Carrying out
    repairs, rebuilds, and assembly
    to precise standards
  • Ensuring all work meets
    quality and safety
    requirements
  • Working closely with supervisors, machinists, and the testing team to deliver on-time results

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience with
    heavy equipment hydraulic cylinders
    or similar machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to
    high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a
    fast-paced, workshop environment
  • Relevant
    trade qualification
    (e.g., Fitter Machinist, Hydraulic Fitter, or Mechanical Fitter)
  • Understanding of
    hydraulic systems, seals, and tolerances
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication and problem-solving skills
