Owned and operated by the Manuli Ryco Group, Fluiconnecto Ryco excels in the management of fluids in hydraulic systems. We cater to various industries, including mining, construction, agriculture, marine and oil & gas. The Group continues to drive the hydraulic and fluid conveyance industry forward with our high-quality products, technical service and expertise and global reach.
THE ROLE
As we enter a new phase of extensive growth within the business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and results driven Business Development Manager to join our high achieving and successful sales team in Brisbane QLD.
You will be the type of Business Development Manager who enjoys selling Hydraulic solutions, coming with the strong ability to identify new opportunities and strategise with sales and service departments on product/service proposals. This is an exciting time for the organisation as we continue to make huge progress in selling Hydraulic parts and fittings across Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic who will be part of a dedicated sales team, possessing the desire to achieve above budgeted sales results and deliver excellent customer satisfaction. Your outstanding interpersonal communication skills, proactivity and strategic call cycle planning, commercial acumen and autonomy will see you thrive in this highly rewarding role. The sky really is the limit on this position with endless opportunities available for the right person
Based out of our modern and progressive Brisbane branch, this is a permanent, full-time position with interviews available immediately. Working hours are Mon-Fri 830am – 5pm.
The position comes with an attractive $$$ remuneration package including a company vehicle is offered to the right candidate, PLUS an excellent monthly commission $$$ bonus.
Please note: You must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have another valid working visa to be considered for this role. No Visa sponsorship is available.
Hydraulics experience is highly preferred but not essential.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out and build relationships with potential customers.
- Maintain and Grow Existing Accounts: Provide outstanding customer service and build long-term partnerships.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our products to effectively address customer needs.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Quoting and Pricing: Prepare and present competitive quotations to customers.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer demands.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience: Proven sales experience within the mining industry, ideally with mechanical knowledge of mobile equipment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with hydraulic hose & fittings is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-Motivation: A results-driven individual with a proactive approach to sales.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
