About the Role

The Senior Apple Technician is responsible for the deployment, support and continuous improvement of Apple technologies across RMIT's staff and teaching environments. You will provide both operational and project delivery support across the University's global environment and act as the Apple SME supporting colleagues in level 1 and 2 teams. You will manage application packaging and deployment within the Mac Managed Operating Environment and ensure the effective integration of Apple solutions across the University.

About You

You are an experienced IT professional with a strong background in supporting Mac environments and Apple technologies. Skilled in macOS, Mac App Store and iOS solutions, you have proven expertise in managing Apple Managed Operating Environments and delivering effective technical support. You combine strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Adaptable and proactive, you are confident working autonomously, leading tasks, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in complex technical environments.

About the Portfolio

The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated, enterprise-wide delivery for best practice student and staff experiences. The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP), Communications, Experience, Human Resources, Information and Technology Services (ITS), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Procurement and Property Services Group (PSG).

The Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables the overall experience for both groups. The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life, across the globe. Each of these functions supports the global operations of the University both directly as well as through its controlled entities.
