About the role:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our Adelaide team. This is a key leadership role within our division, responsible for managing projects, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality audit services. You'll play a pivotal role in risk mitigation, client engagement, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple audit engagements across diverse industries
  • Review financial statements for compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
  • Identify and resolve technical accounting and audit issues
  • Summarise key engagement findings for partners
  • Mentor and train audit staff, ensuring methodology compliance
  • Support resource planning and staffing requirements
  • Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives

About you:

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Degree in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major
  • CA qualification (or equivalent)
  • 3–5 years' audit experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of the Corporations Act, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards

Desirable:

  • Previous experience managing a team
