HEPI is a leading independent supplier of parts, remanufactured components, and equipment to the global mining, quarrying, heavy construction, and energy sectors throughout Australia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Our divisions offer solutions in support of mobile surface mining equipment, fixed crushing and minerals processing equipment, and mobile construction equipment fleets. At HEPI, we provide our customers with a superior alternative to many of the traditional OEM channels by responsively delivering innovative solutions that award the customer with the lowest total cost of ownership.

Due to significant growth within the business, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide support to the Production & Service's Manager (Manufacturing). We are looking for a candidate with a technical background and has worked withing a manufacturing / mining environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the preparation, management and execution of all repairs, commissioning and installation of equipment is managed in accordance with HEPICS standards and agreed timelines.

  • Produce accurate and timely quotes and tenders to clients.

  • Provide solutions and services for existing customers as well as creating new business opportunities.

  • Ensure sufficient manpower and resources levels are in place (sourcing external labour)

  • Ensure project timelines are maintained and regular updates are provided to customers on any expected delays or cost overruns.

  • Ensure the upkeep and on-going entry of all registers including quotations, WIP, equipment and training.

  • Facilitate the delivery of equipment required for completion of jobs.

  • Support shutdown personnel on-site when required.

  • Contribute to Service Monthly Report.

  • Ensure all Service jobs are traceable upon receipt into Pronto and that costs are captured accurately.

About You

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

  • A recognised trade qualification in a relevant trade (Mechanical Fitting or Boilermaking).

  • Minimum five years' specific manufacturing experience (highly regarded)

  • Exposure and understanding of budgeting, costs, working capital management.

  • Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

  • Willingness to travel to site (local and remote) infrequently and at short notice.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate results.

  • Knowledge of Pronto ERP or similar package highly desirable
