The Company
Our client is a specialist organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services within the community. They are seeking a hands-on and experienced Financial Consultant, to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

This role offers the opportunity to step into a busy environment, review and strengthen financial processes, and provide clear recommendations that will support future decision-making.

The Role

  • Review financial statements, records, and reports to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
  • Assess current processes, systems, and controls for efficiency, compliance, and accuracy
  • Identify and address financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Support the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline reporting and enhance processes
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate performance, highlight trends, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations for management and the Board

About You
You will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional with a solid grounding in financial consulting, external audit, or corporate accounting. Ideally, you have a track record of stepping into short-term assignments and adding immediate value through process improvement and analysis.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are key, as you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation. A proactive, hands-on style will be well suited to this fast-paced environment.

The role is based in the northern suburbs with onsite parking.
