The Role

Warrikal is seeking an experienced Superintendent – Crushing and Screening to lead and coordinate crushing and screening operations across shutdowns, maintenance, and project works. This leadership role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of mechanical services in line with Warrikal's standards and client expectations.

You will oversee planning, execution, and team performance across multiple sites, driving productivity and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture. Your technical expertise in mineral processing and crushing operations will be key to achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion safety and environmental compliance across all activities
  • Plan and resource crushing and screening shutdowns to meet client requirements
  • Ensure adherence to HSE, QA/QC, and procedural standards
  • Act as the primary client contact for crushing and screening services
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and incident management
  • Oversee safe, timely, and compliant execution of works
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives
  • Manage budgets, invoicing, and project close-outs
  • Support workforce development and succession planning

About You

  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • A proven leader with extensive experience in crushing and screening within mining or mineral processing environments
  • 5+ years in crushing and screening operations, including shutdowns and major projects
  • Trade qualified and Section 26 compliant
  • Strong knowledge of plant operations and mechanical systems particularly in crushing, grinding, milling, and screening operations.
  • A proactive leadership style with a commitment to safety and team development
  • Ability to thrive in remote, challenging environments.
