Equipment Maintenance Person – 1 Day a Week

We're looking for a reliable Equipment Maintenance Person to keep our tree service equipment in top condition. This role is perfect for a retired mechanic or someone who still enjoys working with their hands but doesn't want full-time hours.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

About the role:

  • One day a week (Mondays) at our Campbellfield workshop
  • Service and maintain trucks, chippers, chainsaws and stump grinders
  • Essential experience with heavy machinery and equipment maintenance is required
  • Troubleshoot and carry out minor repairs
  • Basic visual inspection skills for equipment diagnostics are necessary
  • Minor welding and fabricating

What we're looking for:

  • Mechanical experience (diesel, hydraulics, or small engine skills are a bonus)
  • Minimum 10+ years of mechanical experience is required
  • A dependable, organised person who takes pride in their work
  • Someone who enjoys being the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly
