About the role

As a Plaster and Estimator at sky blue construction pty ltd', you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects. Working full-time from our Laverton North, VIC office, you will be responsible for plastering work or providing accurate cost estimates for our projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Completing plastering work to a high standard on construction sites
  2. Reviewing plans and specifications to provide detailed cost estimates for plastering and other construction activities
  3. Ensuring all plastering work meets industry standards and client requirements
  4. Collaborating with the construction team to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
  5. Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout projects

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a plasterer, with a strong understanding of plastering techniques and materials
  2. Excellent estimating skills, with the ability to accurately calculate material and labour costs
  3. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction best practices
  4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
