  • Oversee all financial aspects of farming operations, farming activity, and future planning for the property, providing robust financial analysis and insights.
  • Plan and execute the financial budgeting with a dedicated focus on financial quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost control with the goal of operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and on-ground farming staff to ensure financial understanding, engagement with targets, and clear communication of financial performance.
  • Initially lead the financial oversight and reporting for CAPEX projects to finalise the transformation process and any ongoing capital works at Sandmount Farms, ensuring financial prudence and alignment with productivity goals.
  • Champion a best practice financial compliance and risk management culture at Sandmount Farms work closely with head office and the broader business leadership team, providing strategic financial input and contributing to overall business decisions.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the agriculture industry or similar asset-intensive industry and a minimum of 5 plus years' experience with CA or CPA qualifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills allowing effective financial communication with all stakeholders, both financial and non-financial.
  • A strong willingness to learn and understand the financial implications of industry-leading Ag technology and operational practices.
  • Demonstrable aptitude in financial decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking within an operational context.
  • Outstanding and highly developed organizational skills in managing financial processes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in remote based teams ensuring strong communication and team collaboration
