Service Finance Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Finance Officer to join our team in NSW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure effective and efficient operations.

  • Process and monitor payments and expenditures.
  • Prepare and monitor the payroll system.
  • Perform day-to-day processing of financial transactions.
  • Deliver high-level customer service.
  • Facilitate the resolution of complaints and escalations.
  • Clean and verify data for accuracy.
  • Manage records and databases with integrity.
  • Complete manual calculations and adjustments.
  • Capture, update and close tickets.
  • Verify and complete audits of payroll processing.
  • Track and identify trends and issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated Payroll, Accounting, Finance experience or equivalent field.
  • Extensive experience in a transactional payroll environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Willingness to undergo National Police Check.
  • Ability to commence and commit to the assignment duration.
