Full Time, Fixed Term role until 18/01/2027.

Salary: VPS 5.1 $113,022 -

$124,884 pa + 12% super

Location: 664 Collins Street, Docklands - Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office)

About the role:

You'll lead programs and projects that enhance EPA's permissioning framework, driving improvements in processes, systems, and capability development. This senior role is pivotal in implementing legislative reforms and delivering strategic priorities that prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste.

In this role you will:

• Lead and role model high standards of performance, accountability, and collaboration.
• Mentor team members and foster a positive, collaborative culture across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of permissioning processes, policies, procedures, and enabling systems.
• Interpret legislation and translate it into clear guidance and procedures.
• Develop and implement project and change management plans with clear objectives and measures.

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent senior-level experience in regulatory affairs, environmental science, planning, engineering, or business improvement.
• Senior-level experience in program or complex project management, preferably within government.
• Strong knowledge of permissioning processes and ability to translate policy into practical applications.
• Advanced writing and communication skills, including drafting formal guidance and procedures.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including mentoring and fostering a positive team culture.
