About the Role

At BFT, our Coaches are the heart and soul of the studio. They're the face of our brand — bringing energy, expertise, and genuine care to every member who walks through our doors. From creating an amazing first impression to delivering high-energy, high-quality sessions, our Coaches play a vital role in helping our members achieve their goals and feel part of the BFT community.

Our Coaches combine technical skill with passion and personality to deliver science-backed, coach-led group training in a supportive, team-based environment. They ensure every member trains safely, effectively, and with purpose — all while having fun and feeling part of something bigger.

As Head Coach, you'll be the 2IC (second-in-command) to the Studio Manager, leading by example through your technique, professionalism, and drive. You'll set the standard for the coaching team, supporting their development and ensuring every session meets the high standards that define the BFT experience.

You'll also learn and step into Studio Manager duties when required — both for business support and to further your own leadership growth within BFT.

• Lead and inspire the coaching team to deliver world-class sessions in line with BFT's training principles.
• Coach with passion — bring energy, motivation, and knowledge to every session, ensuring members train safely and effectively.
• Drive community and culture — make every member feel welcome, supported, and part of the BFT family.
• Support operational excellence — assist the Studio Manager with daily operations, programming, and member engagement.
• Mentor and develop new and existing Coaches to uphold BFT's coaching standards and culture.
• Represent the brand with pride, professionalism, and authenticity in everything you do.

• Proven experience as a Coach or Personal Trainer (group training experience preferred).
• Leadership ability with a passion for motivating and developing others.
• Strong technical knowledge of functional training and exercise prescription.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for health, fitness, and community.
• Cert III & IV in Fitness (or equivalent) and current First Aid & CPR certifications.
