Support the next generation of teachers in regional South Australia.

Are you a detail-driven project coordinator with a passion for education and stakeholder engagement? Join the Department for Education's Workforce Management team in the People and Culture division as a Project Officer – Country Professional Experience Scholarships Program and help deliver a high-impact initiative that supports pre-service teachers in regional and remote placements.

About the Role

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to coordinate the Country Professional Experience Scholarships Program from planning through delivery and evaluation. • Source regional placement sites and match participants based on program criteria and site needs.
  • Deliver presentations to promote the program and support participants before, during, and after their placements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including universities, school leaders, and departmental staff.
  • Monitor program outcomes, conduct evaluations, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and use program management tools to track milestones and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support strategic alignment with the Country Education Strategy and contribute to broader workforce attraction initiatives.
