As our Student Experience Lead you will be the key contact and advocate for undergraduate and postgraduate experience at the Institute. Your role is to support and enhance the student lifecycle within CCI as well as manage and strengthen CCI's relationship with the Universities, particularly UNSW Sydney, promoting our internal opportunities as well as external opportunities and providing our students with the best possible experience at the Children's Cancer Institute.

We acknowledge that great onboarding, development pathway and offboarding experiences for students will enhance their learning and contribution, and our reputation as a great place for students to start their careers in research.

To succeed you will have…

  • First hand experience of being a student in the research sector
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with students
  • Demonstrated experience of working with and building relationships with external stakeholders
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to drive internal and external linkages.
  • Proven success in designing and rolling out new programs through innovative thinking
  • Completed Honours and/or PhD in Medical Research.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with and building relationships with universities
