We are seeking a kind, reliable and experienced carer to assist my elderly father, who is living with dementia in the Gosford area.

Minimum 3+ years of aged care or dementia care experience is required.

Formal aged care qualifications are required.

Candidates of any work status will be considered.

A current Working with Vulnerable People Check is required.

The live-in arrangement involves staying weekdays only.

The role involves approximately 15 hours per week of support with:

*Personal car and daily routines

*Moblilty assistance, including gentle exercises and walks

*General companionship and conversation

In return, we offer free accommodation in a self-contained granny flat including all utilities.

This is an ideal arrangement for someone who values a quiet, comfortable home base and a flexible part-time care schedule.

Requirements

*Experience with dementia care preferred

*Warm, patient and trustworthy

*Police check, drivers licence and references preferred

*Non-smoker referred
