Reporting to the Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager, you will assist in the preparation of the monthly financial and management reports.

More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Performing month end tasks including
  • Preparation and processing of journals
  • Data Analysis
  • Reconciliation of General ledger accounts
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial and Management Reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain Asset Register and workflows in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assistance in the Preparation of FBT return, maintaining appropriate records throughout the year
  • Preparation of BAS/IAS Statements, ensuring all entries comply with GST legislation
  • Maintain the Property Lease Register, ensuring compliance with AASB16
  • Complete all of the above financial functions and reporting for smaller associated entities
  • Adopt and promote a continuous improvement culture within the Finance and Admin Team
  • Provide support to the broader finance team including AR, AP & Cash management.

The successful candidate will have

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce and have CPA or CA qualifications (or progress towards).
  • Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience
  • A proactive approach to tackling challenges
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills to manage a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior Excel skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Experience with Pronto would be advantageous
