We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Data Analyst
with advanced expertise in
Microsoft Excel
to lead data-driven initiatives and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex datasets, building sophisticated Excel models, and mentoring junior analysts. This role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data analysis projects and provide actionable insights to support business strategy.
  • Design and maintain advanced Excel models, dashboards, and automated reporting tools.
  • Utilize Excel functions such as Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, and complex formulas for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analytics processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting best practices in data analysis and Excel usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on Excel-based analytics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA).
  • Strong understanding of data visualization, modeling, and storytelling.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in [industry, e.g., fintech, healthcare, e-commerce].
  • Microsoft Excel certification or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of driving business impact through data insights.
  • Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments.
