About VHBA

The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.

The Opportunity

This role will play a lead role in supporting Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) in implementing and maintaining efficient and effective records and document management systems and associated procedures that meet regulatory, corporate and best practice requirements. This role requires a strong ability to work independently in a complex project environment. The role requires strong communication skills to cultivate and engage VHBA stakeholders, promoting mature records management practices across VHBA.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Own and manage Records Management System (RMS) access protocols, and ensure they are understood, applied accurately and reviewed periodically.
  • Lead the development and delivery of training and guidance to foster a culture of good records management practice and proactively identify opportunities for system and process enhancements.

We are looking for

  • Expertise in digital literacy, cataloguing and metadata management capability in an enterprise records management system and/or other modern applications.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge and practical experience in applying records and information management principles, including all relevant legislation, such as the Public Records Act 1973 (Vic), and mandatory standards issued by the Public Record Office Victoria (PROV).
