NSW Government | Hybrid Work | $600 -$680 P/Day | 3-Month Contract

We are seeking a highly capable Cyber Security Analyst to support GRC and risk related security practices within a leading NSW Government agency. This is an (initial) 3 month contract opportunity which would see you working within a talented technical team, managing key stakeholders and providing high-level assessments of existing practices.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they work across a variety of transformation and uplift related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support across wider GRC functions with a particular focus on risk assessments and Third Party Risk Management / TPRM
  • Work in accordance with ISO 27001 and NSW Government standards
  • Provide high-level assessments, identify challenges and suggest improvements within existing processes
  • Manage a variety of internal stakeholders within the business unit

What you would need for this role:

  • Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant IT/Cyber Security Discipline
  • Direct knowledge of or experience in working with NSW Government Standards (Essential)
  • Expert knowledge of ISO27001 and other industry standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience
  • Third Party Risk Management experience
  • C-Risk & Other Security related qualifications advantageous
