Cyber Security Business Analyst – Contract Role

Location: Sydney or Melbourne (3 days per week in the office, flexible)

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Business Analyst to join the security team on a contract basis. You will work across a range of security projects, focusing on requirements gathering, process definition, and stakeholder engagement.

What you'll be doing

  • Gather and document business and security requirements across multiple projects
  • Define and streamline processes such as exemption workflows in ServiceNow
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to align business needs with security tools and controls
  • Support initiatives including Data Loss Prevention (Zscaler Endpoint DLP, Google Workspace), Endpoint & Cloud Security (CrowdStrike Falcon, Zscaler Internet and Private Access)
  • Ensure processes meet compliance, governance, and reporting requirements

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within cyber security, IT security, or risk/compliance
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience working with vendors and off-the-shelf security products
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and security governance processes is an advantage
