The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our global team in Brisbane or Sydney on a full-time permanent basis.
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for implementation and maintenance of advanced security controls, conducting comprehensive security assessments, managing and responding to complex security incidents, and providing expert technical guidance.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and enhancing monitoring of security alerts and events using advanced security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Performing and supervising comprehensive analysis of security logs, network traffic, and data to detect and respond to advanced threats.
- Leading and managing investigations into complex and high-impact security incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysis and impact assessments.
- Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cyber security analysts, providing guidance and support.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Relevant Cyber Security and/or IT experience.
- Experience in metric reporting and KPI/SLA management.
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, DLP and endpoint protection.
- Knowledge and understanding of offensive security (OSCP Certified).
- Experience delivering and guiding a high performance team with BAU initiatives
- Practical understanding of the application of various security tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships and collaborating with stakeholders.
