Principal
Slalom cloud solutions team build systems to help our clients solve their most complex business challenges. Our diverse teams are invigorated by new challenges and aren't shy to seek out new learning opportunities or challenge the status quo. As a Senior Consultant you will lead from the front, working in team-based projects 50% of the time and for the other 50% of the time you will interact with clients, assisting with pre-sales pursuits and providing mentoring to more junior consultants.

What You'll Do

  • As a member of a growing team, you will help to define and influence the team culture and environment
  • Design, build and automate cost-effective, resilient, and secure cloud-based applications as well as migrations of existing workloads to public clouds
  • Advise clients on the merits of selecting and implementing various architecture patterns within their current infrastructure or implementing new automation strategies

What will you bring?

  • Expert-level skills across all domains of cloud solution architecture.
  • Strong skills across a broad range of other cloud-related technologies:
  • AWS database, server-less, container services.
  • AWS identity, security and operational services.
  • Config Management, Infra as Code and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience architecting and delivering AWS-based cloud solutions.
  • Experience delivering cloud solutions in mid-to-large scale environments.
  • Ability to create high-quality technical architectures and documentation.
  • Clear, collaborative communication style and stakeholder management skills.
  • Growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly.
  • AWS Professional and/or Associate level certifications.

Please note that this role requires being based in Canberra, and holding Australian Citizenship.
