Principal – Solution and Cloud Architect
Slalom Cloud Solutions team build systems to help our clients solve their most complex business challenges. Our diverse teams are invigorated by new challenges and aren't shy to seek out new learning opportunities or challenge the status quo.

As a Principal Solution and Cloud Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of integrated solutions and cloud strategies that align with business objectives. You will be the key driver of innovation, ensuring that both on-premise and cloud-based systems are optimised for performance, security, and scalability.

What will you do?

• Lead the architectural design and integration of enterprise-level solutions across various domains, both on-premise and in the cloud.
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical architectures.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture design, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
• Oversee cloud migration initiatives and integrate cloud services with existing infrastructure to maximize efficiency and agility.
• Establish and enforce governance policies, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements across all solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance solution and cloud architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to architecture and development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations to communicate strategies and roadmaps to stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical concepts and business objectives.

What You Will Bring

• 10+ years of experience in solution and cloud architecture, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Extensive experience with software development lifecycle methodologies and frameworks, and major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, data management, security best practices, and infrastructure management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure solutions that meet business needs while leveraging cloud technologies.
