Do you want to use your digital expertise to strengthen democracy and connect communities with the work of the Parliament of NSW? We are seeking a talented and motivated Digital Engagement Lead to drive Parliament's digital presence, oversee major campaigns and deliver innovative ways for the public to engage with our work. The Digital Engagement Lead is responsible for overseeing engagement across social media, multimedia and online platforms, as well as supporting key programs, events and initiatives.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney's Botanic Gardens.

About you:

You are an experienced digital communicator who can balance creative vision with practical delivery. You will bring:

  • A passion for building community connection through innovative digital storytelling
  • Proven experience in leading digital engagement strategies and projects
  • Strong capability in managing social media, digital campaigns and multimedia content production
  • Knowledge of event promotion in the digital space
  • Confidence in interpreting data and insights
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
