About the role

CS Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary English Teacher to join our dynamic team at our coaching centre in Ryde, NSW. As a Casual Primary English Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and empowering our students to excel in their English language skills. This is a casual role, providing you with the flexibility to balance your teaching commitments with other personal and professional responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver engaging and effective English language lessons to primary school students
  • Develop and implement customised lesson plans and teaching strategies to cater to the individual needs of each student
  • Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to support students in improving their reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Collaborate with the coaching centre team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and their families
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching expertise

What we're looking for

  • Relevant teaching qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Education or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary school level
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and teaching methods for English language development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and their families
  • Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment that fosters student success
  • Adaptability and a willingness to tailor teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
