THE ROLE
This role is located within the Agency Performance and System Support Unit in the North East Melbourne Area, North Division. It has responsibility for leading a team to develop an in-depth understanding of the local community service environment. This includes a thorough knowledge of locally provided funded services and identification of service-related issues such as service demand. The role is accountable for the monitoring and implementation of the Agency Monitoring Framework (AMF), including management of local service agreements and the collection and recording of performance data. The role is responsible for the development of new projects, service pathways, and place-based approaches and identifies and supports existing initiatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Lead a defined team in providing or contributing to authoritative and expert advice and recommendations with a specific program or area-based focus, consistent with organisational goals and
- Resolve complex operational problems relating to community service organisations and Service Agreement issues being experienced by team
- In collaboration with the relevant manager, manage the allocation of resources within and the outputs required of the work area to achieve service delivery goals
