Hours Per Week: 38 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing

You will provide individualised quality nursing care to support the health and wellbeing of patients within a busy and rewarding clinical environment. Guided by Registered Nurses, you will contribute to safe practice, excellent communication and seamless patient experiences.

• Deliver and assist in assessing, planning, organising and evaluating patient care
• Provide best practice nursing aligned with ANCSI competencies and WSLHD policy
• Support holistic care tailored to each patient's needs and rights
• Communicate sensitively with patients and families, advocating where needed
• Maintain accurate documentation to ensure safe and effective care

Essential Criteria:

• Registration: Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse
• Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
• An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
