Description:

About the Role

As the Professional Learning Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our workforce. You'll design, implement, and evaluate engaging learning and development programs that strengthen the knowledge, confidence, and practice of educators and leaders across our OOSH network.

You'll collaborate with a passionate team of professionals, ensuring our learning programs align with sector priorities, the National Quality Framework, and Australian Skills Quality Authority standards. This role combines strategic program design with hands-on coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building across services.

Skills and Experiences:

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in designing and delivering professional development and best practice programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of RTO compliance requirements and vocational education standards.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of Trainers and Assessors to successfully deliver formal qualification programs through RTO partnerships.
  • Experience in developing external partnerships to enhance formal qualification offers for St Nicholas employees.
  • Strong knowledge of performance development, coaching and learning systems (LMS).
  • Experience with various assessment tools – summative, formative, competency based.
  • Comprehensive understanding of RTO Standards, NSW Smart and Skilled contract and the AQF and abide by them at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40116 or as specified by the standards.
  • Qualification in Learning & Development, Education or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in development and the delivery of sector related learning.
  • Minimum 5 year's previous experience working as a Trainer/Assessor.
  • Class C Driver's License and willingness to travel to regional location.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience (Desirable).
  • Previous experience working within OOSH services (Desirable).
  • Previous experience in Vocational Education and Training across a multi-site operation (Desirable).
